Step-1) Download & Run SysInspire IMAP Backup/Migration tool on your windows based computer.
Step-2) Choose your mail app from the available drop-down list of mail apps.
Step-3) Add your IMAP Email Account creadentials (Email Address & Password) and press the Login button for signing in.
Step-4) Login with your mail account, and load all mail folders of your mail account into the software.
After the folder selection, apply the below given steps for IMAP email backup and migration.
Backup IMAP account emails to local drive
Step-5) Choose Export option:- Choose a file type for preserving downloaded IMAP emails from the options (Save in PST, EML, EMLX, MSG, HTML, MHTML, Single MBOX, Separate MBOX, PDF, Thundernbird.)
Step-6) Apply other required settings: -
- Mail Filter:- Set a date on "From" & "To" fields to export emails of only choosen dates from IMAP server.
- Naming Convention:- Choose a naming format from multiple predefined option to provide names to resultant files. (Only supported with EML, EMLX, HTML, MHTML and MSG)
- Saving Location:- Select a location where you want to preserve to resultant files while migration.
Step-7) After all needed selections, simply press the Save Backup button and start downloading IMAP emails to your local drive.
Step-8) The software will complete the IMAP email Backup process and provide your completion notification screen.
Move IMAP Email to New Host or Another Server
Step-5) Choose Import option:- Choose a cloud mail import option : - (import to Office365, Gmail, G-suite, Yahoo, and IMAP Server) and click on Next.
Step-6) Select Import into Office365 option, enter Office365 account details and hit the Convert button.
Step-7) Sign with your Office365 account and begin the IMAP to Office365 migration.
Step-6) Choose Import into Gmail/G-suite option, and input your Gmail account "Email Address" and "Google Third-Party App Password" and press the "Athenticate login" button.
Note: - For login, create Google Third party app password
Step-8) Login with Gmail and click on "Import to Gmail account" button to start IMAP to Gmail migration.
Step-6) Select Import into Yahoo option, enter your Yahoo Mail account "Email Address" and "Yahoo Third-Party App Password" and click on "Athenticate login" button.
Note: - For signing in, generate Yahoo app password for Third party app login
Step-7) After account authentication, click on "Import to Gmail account" button and start the IMAP to Office365 migration.
Step-6) Choose Import into Outlook.com from cloud import options, input Outlook.com/Hotmail account "Email Address" and "Password", then press "Convert" button.
Step-7) Connect with mail server and start the IMAP to Outlook.com migration.
Step-6) Choose Import into IMAP Account option, input your IMAP account details "Email Address", "Password", "Host Name", and "Port"
Step-7) After adding all IMAP account details click on Convert and migrate emails from one IMAP account to another.
Step-8) After completeion the software will open a Confirmation dialog box, click on Ok and close the software.
